If you’ve felt frustrated from general Swedish, relaxation, or painful deep tissue massages that seem to provide relief in the moment only for chronic issues to return soon after, it’s time to look at your pain through a different lens. Jaz’s gentle and slow approach largely works with the skin and fascia to move superficial nerves and disrupt negative feedback loops. You’ve likely never had a massage like this.

Myofascial therapy is an intentional collaboration between the therapist and your nervous system to help your body find balance naturally. This approach can prolong periods of relief, restore blood and lymph flow, and create an optimum environment for nerve signal transmission, and with that: reduce or eliminate pain patterns.

In your treatment with Jaz, they will blend other approaches into your session like DermoNeuroModulating, positional relaxation therapy, and contract-relax stretching to alleviate discomfort and create a new somatic story that highlights your body’s profound ability to heal through holistic care.

More about Jaz Frazier: Jaz is a 2021 graduate of New York Institute of Massage and is NYS and nationally licensed. As a gender-queer practitioner, Jaz uses the pronouns they/them and welcomes clients of all identities on their table.
